Going Viral on the FYP with a TikTok View Boost

A food creator's experiment with seeding view counts to trigger the For You Page on borderline videos.

Two of five boosted videos crossed into six-figure organic views within 72 hours; the other three plateaued, confirming the boost amplifies good content rather than rescuing weak content. Average new-follower-per-video roughly doubled during the test window.

View seeding is a multiplier on watch time, and watch time is what the FYP actually rewards. Spend it on formats your audience already finishes, keep batches modest and early, and track cost per 1,000 views across panels so you're never overpaying for a commodity service.
